I have a sonos beam and two sonos one, when I play from the phone surround sound works but when I play from TV or from my Xbox surround sound does not works at all. I hear a very little sound from the Sonos one but that's like someone is whispering.



I have changed the TV sound to Dolby Digital plus and changed the settings to of Xbox to Surround Sound as well. Moreover I tried connecting Beam with optical cable but still no luck.

Start by setting the TV to Dolby Digital, as Plus will not work. Check the About page in the app to see exactly what format the Beam is receiving.
What did you set the xbox to, and are testing audio from games/streaming or while playing Blu-ray discs?



I don't recall the exact settings and don't have my xbox in front of me, but it does work.
