Surround sound issue.

HI, I have a play bar and 2 play 1’s set on my living room TV. I use optical feed from the TV direct to the play bar. we have a problem that intermitently the sound changes from surround to what seem like music ambient play setting, so the vocal audio etc is sent to all three speakers, then at a random time ti will revert back to normal surround. So damn annoying!!! :-)

Any ideas would be greatly welcomed!!! pleeeeeeease
