My subwoofer has recently started making what can best be described as a rattling/popping sound randomly throughout playback. The fact that this is a recent development makes me concerned that this is some type of physical defect as opposed to any type of software issue. If it cannot be fixed via some type of software update, what is the policy as far as repair/replacement?

I've never seen a written policy, other than the normal stuff on the website. You're probably best off if you were to contact Sonos to discuss it.
