Sonos tends to avoid quoting total wattage; their focus is on driver/amplifier architecture.

Adequate, for most users.

Ah, right. OP meant to ask a question.

@106rallye

Their internet provider charges by the letter, with question marks charged double.

The thread is marked as a question. The sarcastic comments really aren’t necessary.

That’s why I had answered without one.

It takes nothing to form a full sentence though.

And your comment above mine added to the conversation how?

Would it not have been even more effective to let the thread end before your post rather than continuing it like this?

Look, I really appreciate you correcting me when I make technological suggestions that are incorrect, as I learn things from you all the time. And take those corrections in good grace because you are far more experienced than I am in the deeper knowledge.

But I really don’t want to start running my comments through a Mr T filter before posting them to ensure you’re going to be happy with them.

I mean if you’re going to be petty over a missed question mark there’s not a lot I can say.

I’m going to say no more as I don’t want to fall out with someone I respect.

Knowing the amplifier output power for a one box amplifier-speaker system is not very useful. The important detail is the acoustic output. In traditional systems where the amplifier and speakers are acquired separately, you can calculate the acoustic output from the amplifier power and speaker efficiency.
