Sound bar and tv volume

How do you disconnect the sound bar from controlling my tv volume???

Welcome to the Commuinity!

Normally you would disable the internal speakers on the TV and then the TV won't adjust any volume when the remote is used, the remote will control the Amplification of the Playbar.

Which TV and remote are you using?
