Sonos Playbase/Playbar + LG Magic Remote LG 55EC9300

Ok, so there are tons of forums going around on this topic and feel like this is TV model specific as i have tried multiple ways suggested by users but none have worked for me.

Basically I have an old LG OLED TV, model is #LG 55EC9300. and cannot connect the remote control to the Playbase

I have tried device connector and used Optical-->optical-->Phillips--->remote 1,2,3,4 etc. but no luck :(

Anyone else have this TV model and/or recommend any other options? Perhaps setup from scratch?

Hello mcktom, welcome to the community. Some customers have better luck when the brand is set to pioneer. Are you running remote control setup after you change those settings? Here's how to do that: https://sonos.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4033

Are you able to set up other remotes with your PLAYBASE?
