Sonos One & Sonos Play 1 paired rear together?

I'm getting a Sonos Playbar and want to add rear speakers for surround sound but also want to have Alexa voice control. Instead of using two Sonos ones in the rear is it possible to do a Sonos one and a Sonos Play 1 as rears or does it have to be the same speaker in the back?
