Sonos causing TV to reboot?

We installed a Sonos Beam-based surround sound system onto our Sony TV recently and have found many times that after turning off the TV, when we turn it back on, we get the Android start up screen, and the TV has to reboot.

Any one else have this issue?

There is a known bug with Sony TVs. Solutions:

  1. Turn off TV wifi
  2. TV settings → network → home network setup → IP control → turn on simple IP control 

Either option would work. Option 1 works well if you use an external streamer. Option 2 requires a little more energy (TV’s sleep mode takes slightly more energy).
