Hi everyone,

I have a samsung 65Q95T and i bought a Sonos beam.

The device is simply connected in hmdi to the eARC port of the tv.

I have a question about the sound configuration. In the tv should I leave the output format to Auto or change to PCM or Transfert. In auto am I getting the dolby digital ?

I am planning to add 2 small speaker for the suround (probably the play one or the one). Do I need to change something in the setting of the Tv ?

Thanks in advance

The Auto setting should give you Dolby Digital audio from supported sources. What is “Transfert”?

You can check what audio the Beam is receiving on the Now Playing screen in the Sonos app.

You will not need to change any settings on your TV when you add surround speakers.

Thanks for your Quick reply. Everything is clear now.

Forget about transfert. My tv is in french. I think transfert is the transparent mode.
