Sonos Beam Technical Feature

Hello all.

I’m coming right now into Sonos sound world. I’ld like starting with Sonos Beam, although I’ld like to read a real technical features chart.

Is there a way where to read frequencies range, impedance, etc?

Hi @Mark P, I’m so sorry about that. I think I should go on other brand (I know it’s not a big deal) that provides detailed technical features.

User own opinion is a simple “opinion”, technical features are objective (when they are true).

I hope to try Sonos soon or later.

Sonos don’t seem to publish the frequency range (perhaps they’re wanting to retain the flexibility to change the hardware), and I don’t think the impedance has any relevance as this is not a speaker you are connecting to an existing amplifier.

That said, a review of the beam says “The Sonos beam frequency response is between 15.6 kHz on the treble and 55.8Hz on the low end”

Really, though, you should buy it if has the features you are looking for and you like the sound. Friends had extolled the virtues of Sonos for years but it was the combination of ARC-HDMI input, AirPlay, and streaming audio services, that sold it to me.

In many regions Sonos offers a money-back trial. If you are in such a region, buy it and try it. Return it if you’re dissatisfied with sound or volume.

@jrguk  It could be true. I found some other devices offering same features with tech specs showed so I’m thinking to change.

I think it’s about “transparency” and “knowing” what I’m buying for. That’s all.

I’ll continue watching at Sonos hoping to buy it in the future.
