Sonos Beam, sub and sonos one.

I have a 1st generation sonos one.

I am thinking of buying a sonos beam, sonos sub and another sonos one to have 5.0 surround sound.

Will a generation 2 sonos one work with generation 1?

Hi @RyJu69, Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. Thanks for bringing this up. Regarding your question. The Sonos One 1st generation should work with the 2nd generation Sonos Ones as surround speakers or stereo pairs, whichever setup you would like to do for both of the speakers. Having the Sonos Beam, Sub,  and 2 surround speakers should give you a Sonos 5.1 Home theater setup.
