Installed Sonos Beam on mantle, in close proximity to Charter/Spectrum Cable Box.

Spectrum Remote became “sluggish to inoperable” immediately thereafter.

Turned off power to the Beam … Spectrum Remote worked fine.

Re-powered the Beam … Remote reverted back to “sluggish to inoperable” state.

Appreciate any guidance/insight/solutions …

What kind of remote? If it uses radio frequency (e.g. Bluetooth) instead of infra-red there’s a chance it could be fighting with the Beam’s own wireless.


Solved.

Charter/Spectrum advised their remote is not infra-red.

They gave me a new one, which when programmed from scratch worked fine.
