Long time sonos user and love my 5.1 setup but yesterday my playbar blow up all the speakers went pop with sparks and cracking coming out of plug I don’t know how this has happened . I’ve had the playbar since release so out of warranty and being impatient and not been able to afford another playbar and bought the beam. I’m very impressed with the sound-stage produced by this compact bar,I don’t have a large living and if I’ve I’m honest I can’t tell a difference in sound....but part of me feels like I’m down grading from the play 😞 not sure if I should return it now and see if it possible to repair the playbar.
Sonos sometimes offers discounted replacement for out of warranty hardware failure. You have nothing to lose by asking.
