Sonos Arc obscuring TV screen

Hi,

I have purchased at SONOS ARC to compliment my LG OLED55CX to make the most of its Dolby Atmos ability. Unfortunately the ARC will obscure the bottom (2” approx) of the TV screen. I am after recommendations for a desktop stand (VESA 300 x 200) I can purchase to overcome this problem. Hopefully someone in the community can help. Thanks in advance.

Hi @DavidAW, sorry for the late response and welcome to the community.

If you’re asking for any recommended mounts for the TV, I would suggest getting in touch with the manufacturer.

You could also refer to any electronic store that sells TV mounts.

However, for the Sonos Arc, we do sell a wall mount for it on our website. 

Since there are up-firing speakers on the Sonos Arc, we can’t mount it above the TV like the Playbar.

I used IKEA Lack shelves to lift my TV up far enough so the screen wasn’t obscured.

note:  the top pieces that are slide adjustable, I removed and did not use.

I have the C9 65” model, mine has the actual stand then the long faceplate that reflects the TV’s speaker’s sound forwards, and helps balance things out a little bit. My plan is to get some plywood, paint them black, and put them under the TV to raise it up. On my model the Arc completely hides the stand, so I’ll never see the gap unless I’m walking to the side of it.
