Sonos arc issues

Had the Sonos Arc working for a month without any issues using hdmi arc3 on a Sony tv. 
 

Randomly today it dropped a the sound and no longer plays tv audio. 
 

music services etc all work without any issues. 
 

no tv Audi. 
app shows a fault in the hdmi setup. 
 

connected multiple cables. Nothing. Rebooted nothing.

Rebooted what?

I’d certainly be tempted to check a couple of things. First, make sure HDMI 3 is labeled ARC on the TV. Second, if you’ve rebooted the Arc, I’d reboot the TV by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes. Once it comes back up, I’d check for software updates for the TV, and make sure that CEC is still turned on. Sony may be calling that BraviaLink, or something equally silly.
