I can't get my new Samsung UN65KS8000 to connect to my sonos system. My sonos system has worked with every other tv I've had. How can I get this to work?

your tv only has optical output. you could use an adapter to convert to analog and use the line in on sonos

Hi Dub3, welcome to the Sonos community. Can you describe the problem you are having in more detail? Is the TV connected to the PLAYBAR with the optical cable? Do you get any sound at all from it, or intermittent sound? I can see a potential issue in that the specifications of this TV mention Dolby Digital Plus only, and Sonos needs Dolby Digital, without the plus. If you are experiencing an issue where the TV sound plays but is intermittent, try changing your TV's audio output format to PCM.
