Hi all. I’ve searched and searched but can’t find an actual fix for the problem with the Samsung universal remote. Thought I’d ask the hive to see if someone can point me in the right way.

Remote - universal remote
Problem -
I have my remote working perfectly with live tv and the volume and mute functions work beautifully.
I have an Nvidia Shield connected via HDMI.
My issue is that I can’t control the volume with the tv remote when I’m watching media through the shield.
Note- before I added the Playbar, the remote was able to control tv volume. After the Playbar connection- I just get a pop up saying the audio is connected by optical cable BUT no change in volume.
Is there a work around?
I’m really sorry if there is a fix that I’ve not been able to find!
