am I still able to listen to TV via the TV's headphones connection only ( when deeded i.e. late at night ) when using the upcoming Sonos Beam and its HDMI ARC connection with the TV...so that the Sonos Beam with its ARC connection does not prohibit the usage of headphones with the TV ?

+17I would assume the tvs headphone socket is always active.
You may have to mute, or pause, or turn volume to zero on the beam to keep it quiet.

Corded headphones or bluetooth? I'm not so sure of the answer because wth Bluetooth it will not keep the connection with the headphones and Beam keeps taking it back. I can't see why this would work better for corded but I guess it depends on your TV
