Projector connections from 3.5mm jack to optical??

Connecting optoma GT 5500 to Sonos as it doesn't have a optical out only 3.5mm jack,any help would be great.

Here's a box that will convert the analog audio signal to optical and coaxial. There are also plenty of other related products linked on that page that do the same thing. If it has a selectable sampling rate, you want to select 44.1 or 48 KHz.
