The beam is installed and wired to the TV (ARC). But it still says that the ARC-connection still is not set up properly….. I already use the beam to play Spotify from my iPhone but now I want to add the TV.

You don’t say which LG, there are hundreds of models. Some need to have SimpLink enabled (that is what LG call HDMI-CEC). Some only support HDMI-ARC on certain ports.
