Hi I have a Philips flatscreen that does not have a toslink connector. I haven’t been able to use the Playbar unless I plug it into the cable box, but we never use cable, only Roku. I bought an analog to digital audio converter and I can get some sound to come through the PLAYBAR but it is garbled...the signal is corrupted or getting dropped. Has anyone had any experience with this or know if there’s a workaround? Perhaps may TV just flat isn’t comparable even with this converter I bought.

NOTE - right now I’m trying RCA cables but will be buying and trying the digital audio coaxial cable option. Hoping that works better than the RCA audio out.
