Hi Stargazerphil, welcome to the Sonos community. Have a go at re-pairing the remote with the PLAYBAR by following the instructions on this page.. Make sure the batteries in the remote are not going flat, you have a clear line-of-sight to the PLAYBAR's IR receiver, and there isn't any direct sunlight on the receiver. If you have a Plasma TV, please switch it off for this process.
