Hiya,

I’ve just bought a sony blu-ray ubp-x800m2 and can’t get my Beam2 to pick up any sound. I’m using the hdmi2 output into the back of the beam and the hdmi1 output goes into my projector.
Any ideas as to what I can do?

Is the projector port HDMI eARC/ARC?

If not try using the optical adapter from the projector’s optical out.

Thank you for your reply.
The projector isn’t the problem though, unfortunately, as the sound isn’t being fed into it - just the picture.
I think it’s a problem with the Blu-ray player not supplying an ARC formatted sound signal to the Sonos?
