No audio when switching between DVR/Netflix and TV.

Hey Guys. I have a Sub Gen 2 and Beam for about 6 months. If I switch to Netflix or DVR (sometimes even just changing the channel) my audio cuts out. When this happens, I need to go to my TV menu and choose “use Tv speakers for audio output”. It switches to the TV and the back to Sonos. My TV is X900F Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR

Sounds like an issue in the TV’s ability to properly switch inputs. I’d double check that the TV’s software is up to date, then reboot the TV by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes, then plugging it back in.

If the behavior continues, I’d contact the manufacturer of the TV set. Not sure who that is, all you gave is a model number.

Gotcha. I’d still contact Sony. Sonos doesn’t have any control over the switching of inputs, that’s completely a TV issue. Sonos only plays the data it is presented. If it’s not getting data from the TV, there isn’t anything they can do.

Makes sense. I reached out to them. I posted here because I read somewhere (which I cant find now) that it was a pretty simple fix in the TV settings. Just thought someone else might have run into it. Thanks for the input.
