No ability to control volume with remote

I set up my Sonos soundbar and it works great, but I can't control the volume with the remote. Setup is Cable Box > HDMI > Vizio TV > Optic > Sonos Soundbar. I am using the cable box remote (Cisco URC-8820). When if first set up the Sonos soundbar, the cable remote control worked for the Sonos soundbar volume. Then it stopped working and I cannot get anything to work. Even got a new remote from cable company hoping to recreate the initial setup config. I have TV set to "sound off." Any suggestions?

Hey there, Mark in AZ. Are you still having trouble with the cable box remote and controlling the volume? Did you end up getting another remote? Perhaps, it may be best to give our support technicians a call to troubleshoot this in real time.
