Hello All
I just got my New tv: Sony XE9005 paired with a playbase and 2x Play 1.
When I use the Android smartTV and using apps the output is only stereo and not 5.1 according to the Sonos app?
What could I be missing in order to make it work?
Help really appreciated.

Hello there, Jeppe113. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. First I would recommend going through the Help Guide of your TV to make sure everything has been done on the TV side before we start to troubleshoot Sonos. If the TV is set for Digital Audio Out and is connected via Optical Cable to the PLAYBAR, then please submit a diagnostic report while watching something in 5.1. The diagnostic report will show what type of signal it is receiving from the TV. Be sure to reply with the seven-digit confirmation number it gives at the end.
I have the same TV with no problems - in fact it's wonderful. What apps are you using?
