i want to buy the playbar but it is an old model and the beam i think is not heavy enough

The sales person at Best Buy told me they got info from Sonos that a new one was coming but not when.
Man I hope that's true!
I would assume a Playbar and playbase V2 with HDMI is in the works. I wouldn't expect until next year though.
For now the only HDMI heavier hitter is the new upcoming Sonos Amp
P.S. Take very little stock in anything someone says at Best Buy.
They have to to stay relevant. The question is just - when? Most likely within 2 years.
Let's hope on HD audio and Atmos support.
I would not hope for anything of the sort. If they were going to offer those features, they would have put them on the Beam.
I would be surprised since the Beam just came out.
