3rd party L/R front speakers cannot be added to a SONOS ARC. 3rd party subwoofers cannot be added to a SONOS ARC.

If you use SONOS powered speakers as the surrounds, 3rd party speakers cannot be added as extra surround speakers. You could use 3rd party passive surround speakers if driven by a SONOS AMP.

If you are using a SONOS AMP for the front surround, a powered 3rd party subwoofer can be added to the front.

Just an addition: using a Sonos Amp for front surround implies you are not using an Arc. The Arc cannot be used as a center only, nor can an Amp be added as front surrounds to an Arc. The Amp wil creat a “phantom” center.
