I know what you’re thinking. I’m beating a dead horse. But I still think it’s a valid ask, so here we go:
I want to be able to have two sub minis in a room, just like you can have 2 sub gen 4’s. My reasons are this >
- I already have one sub mini with my system (Arc + 2 Era 100’s + sub mini) but want to have wider coverage of the bass.
- Before you say “just get a sub gen 4”, I will tell you that I prefer the bass ‘sound’ of the mini over the sub gen 4. I find the bass tighter and more controlled with the sub mini. So it’s not just a question of more bass, but the different type of bass each of those products produce
Sonos has the ability to allow two sub mini’s in the same system since they already do with the gen 4’s, so I wouldn’t think it’s a huge engineering hurdle to allow the same with the sub mini. And it would be a win/win imo. Those of us sub mini owners who want a second one attached to our system would be happy, and Sonos would sell more subs.
All this said, I still now fully expect a smattering of replies like “trying moving your sub mini around the room” and “why not just get a sub gen 4”, so have at it 😉. All I’ll tell you is that there’s some of us who simply want to have two sub minis working in tandem, so why not sell us that option?
