muting surround speakers

Hi all , finally got my beam gen 2 and 2 One SL surround speakers set up today , can I just ask , in the app if I turn off the surrounds they flash green , is it better when muting surrounds to toggle them off so they flash green or keep them toggled on but turn the surround volume to zero , thanks

    Thanks for all your replies , after I toggled the surrounds " off " the two LEDs flashed green which according to this

    It means they're ready for set up but they we're already set up and playing , I just toggled them off !!
