Line Autoplay switchback
Is there a way for the Sonos player to revert back to music in autoplay mode when line in signal finished?

Not to my knowledge, at this point in time.
+2that's just broken, in my opinion. when the signal that caused the autoplay to do it's thing goes away, the system should revert to whatever it was doing before in that room. that just seems obvious. "principle of least astonishment" kind of stuff, really...
I'm sorry you're so upset by my answer to your question. It's not a decision that I took, you'd need to look to Sonos for that.
But I'm sure they've taken your suggestion and added it to the giant backlog of things that they haven't done that are "just broken".
