Is it\will it be possible to add more than 2 surround speakers to an existing setup?

Hi,

I’m not sure this is possible but are there any plans to introduce the ability to add more surround speakers to cinema set up? 
 

Currently running with an Arc, 2x Subs (gen 3 & gen 2) and 2 x Ones. Really like the looks of the new Ikea\Sonos frame speaker and would love to put a pair behind us.

So far no news about that being possible but it is asked once in a while.

Folks asking may have helped us get the two Sub option so hope for the best.

At some point I expect that full, multiple surround speakers will be supported, but I cannot speculate when. As Stanley_4 notes, two SUB’s is a start along this path.
