With the recent release of the S2 OS; I wanted to ask if 7.1 could be available in the future?
I know this question has been asked before, but I don't know if anyone has clarified if this is a software or hardware limitation.

I hope (keyword hope) that with the Arc that 7.0.2/7.1.2 is possible with future firmware updates when you use physical surrounds. The new sound bar clearly supports Dolby TrueHD 7.1/Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 content so I would hope the added cpu/memory/WiFi performance will also allow a 7.1 hardware setup in the future as well…. but I guess only time will tell.
