When watching Dolby Atmos videos, this configuration operates as 7.1.4, but the problem is that the soundbar's side-firing speaker output is so weak that it actually sounds like 5.1.4.

In fact, when playing Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 test tones and listening to the side channel test tones, the side-firing speakers are so weak that the side channel sound sounds like the rear channel sound. Not only the test tones, but also when you watch various movie contents, if you place the Era 100 behind the sofa, the sound that should be heard from the side does not come from the side but rather sounds as if it is coming from the rear.

Therefore, I have the following request to the sound engineering team: When combined with the Era 100, please increase the volume output of the side-firing speakers.

Is this only using the test tones, or do you also notice this when playing real content? Sonos (in a discussion on this community about the Arc Ultra) has stated they are more about the surround experience using real content than about adhering to rules about sound placement when using test tones.
