Hi to all

I am doing a dream set-up in a new house (friend house)

my issue is only with one of the room it is a home theater dedicated

The room is pretty big measurement in feet

large 28 by 35

i am afraid that std arc sub and 2 ere 300 will be insufficient in the of out put i hear that having 4 ere cans be difficult to set-up or give a average result for the surround effect

i event think about a arc in front 2 five speakers each side ( I don't know the surround effect that will give)

an the 2 era in the back a sub or maybe 2 small new one middle each side

or the 2 era in replacement of the 2 five

what is you opinion on that

It should sound truly horrid.

Any positioning you’d normally get would be swamped by the additional speakers.

When playing a TV source the echos from the additional speakers not in the home theater set would driver me from the room.

For TV sources you can have an Arc (I’d suggest Arc Ultra) as the front L/R/C channels and front height channels. You can have two matched Surrounds. You can have one or two Subs, or one mini-Sub.

For streaming music you can have whatever you want in the room, just Group them together.

If you want bigger sound go with two Sonos Amps and big, high efficiency passive speakers. Add your choice of powered Subs to the front Amp.

For that room I don’t recommend a soundbar from any manufacturer.

I recommend that you hire a professional and build in a traditional system. Wires can be run during construction. You can interface with a SONOS system using PORT.
