Have just upgraded from Sonos One surrounds to Era 300 and checking placement.
Doesn’t sound as prominent as I’d expect. Anything I can do to improve it?

Have you tried facing the Era 300s directly toward the front wall? You may need to increase the Surround Audio levels in the Sonos app too.
