Hi,

If i use my Sonos Beam (gen 2) + SUB to my eARC on the newest Samsung premium tv, should i go for PCM or Dolby then?

Dolby.  PCM is usually stereo.  Dolby will give you simulated surround and the actual ‘.1’ signal to the Sub.

Hi,

Thanks!

But I also read that the thing with eARC is that it also gives PCM 5.1 and 7.1 in uncompressed audio?

Only if the source/device uses that format.  Most streaming sources/devices max out at DD+, except for Apple TV.
