Dolby Atmos height channel not effective - Sonos Arc

Hi Support Team,

 

My setup is Sonos Arc + Sub+ 2 Play One. I have done the Trueplay. Watched Netflix movies + Document series; Apple tv + movies having dolby atmos. 

 

Sonos app displays dolby atmos. However the height channels is not effective. 

 

Although the sound is amplified (May be due to my 5.1 setup), the height channel cannot be determined. It looks like playing from front & surround and no height related sounds. 

My house Ceiling is 6.88 ft from Sonos Arc , Sofa Listening position is 9.84 ft from Sonos Arc. Tried moving front. No noticeble difference coming from height channel. 

 

The Sonos Arc is placed on the TV Console horizontally. Not mounted. 

 

Kindly assist on this Dolby Atmos height related issue. Thanks.

Not the support team, but I am curious what “height channel” effects you are not noticing? What do you expect from Atmos?
