Does Sonos Surround work properly with Samsung TV.

Is there still an issue with Samsung TVs not sending the dolby digital info from the HDMI inputs down to the optical output?

Samsung sells an amazing variety of televisions. What model is yours?
I do not have one yet. I had hear that samsung has this issue so I wanted to check before i bought one.

To my knowledge, there's no global issues with Samsung TVs. If you know what model(s) you're looking at then some people who are more current than I (stopped looking at new TVs a few months ago when I got my LG) should be able to provide some insight.
Does you LG have any issues. It had been a problem with LG and Samsung

Everything is working great. LG OLED65B6P connected to Playbar w/Sub. The only quirk is that the LG Magic Remote didn't play as nice with Sonos for changing volume as I'd hoped.
