What’s the difference between digital audio out on auto 1 and auto 2? Is one better than the other for Sonos using Arc ?

+18I'd say “trust your ears". From the description it seems Auto 1 always puts out compressed audio, whil Auto 2 only puts out compressed audio for multichannel content. So the difference is only heard in stereo content.
