Directv Genie connection to Sonos Beam.
I’m setting up a projector with a Directv Genie and am wondering what the best way to hook up my Beam to the Genie for audio.

You would feed the HDMI from the Genie to the projector. Then audio out from the projector to the Beam. You may have to place a coaxial to optical converter in between the projector audio out and the Beam.

+21If the only device you'll ever be using through the projector is your DirecTV box, and the DirecTV box has an optical connection on it, then you could go direct from the Genie to the Beam, using the optical adapter included with Beam. But ideally, the setup AjTrek mentions would be best, so whatever is showing on your projector has audio going through Beam.
