hello I'm not sure where to put the question if I create a new post.

I want to create a sound at home either 7.1 or dolby atmos, I don't know much about the subject.

now i have 1 beam and 2 sonos one.

My idea is to install 2 five, what I don't understand is what kind of configuration is left

7.0 or still 5.0 or this setting does not work as surround sound

Thanks.

If you added two Fives, they would just replace the two Ones as surrounds, so it would still be a 5.0 system. You cannot add Fives as front left and front right channel speakers.

Rather than getting two Fives, I recommend getting a Sub and keeping your Ones as surrounds. This will give you a great-sounding 5.1 system. The extra bass you get from the Sub will make a huge difference when watching movies.

Unfortunately with a Beam and two Sonos Ones, you cannot achieve a 7.1 surround sound system or play Dolby Atmos audio. The best you can do is 5.1 by adding a Sub. If you want Dolby Atmos, you need to purchase a Sonos Arc. With the Arc, Sub, and Ones as surrounds, you will have a 5.1.2 setup.

Thanks for your answer,And what would happen if I add 2 five to my system ??  would it still be 5.0?
