Connecting to Beam, Surrounds, and Sub to LG OLED E9

Recently purchased this TV: LG OLED55E9PU E9 Series OLED TV (2019)

 

I can’t figure out how to play surround sound from the TV. 

Surround sound from my Beam, 2 Sonos One’s, and Sub work when using AirPlay

but audio for surround speakers and sub drops when playing from the TV.

Ooof, I’m an idiot. Ye ole, update the software and restart seemed to resolve it.

    Not an idiot, just hadn’t gotten around to all the options. ;) 

    Make sure you check the TV for updates, too.
