Can I link my spotify direct to my 5.1 system?

I've currently got packed up in boxes my new 5.1 system and wondered when I do get moved and unpacked whether I need anything to play my Spotify music through the system? Is it simply a case of linking my phone with the system and playing, or is it a little more complicated than that?
