Beam has 2 ethernet ports and no HDMI Arc port

I just realized that my new Beam (ser #7828CA58F8F2F) has two ethernet ports instead of one ethernet and one HDMI-Arc port (which I'm told is the preferred connection to my TV), plus fiber. My new LG TV has an Arc-HDMI port but I had to connect Beam via fiber audio as the new Beam does not have HMDI. Hmmmm...

Is this an older model Beam that Best Buy sold me last month? Is Arc-HDMI still the preferred connection to a high-end TV? Why does my new Beam not have an HDMI port then when Sonos docs tell me to connect via ARC-HMDI if my TV supports it (which it does)? Help please... I want to optimal connection from my LG TV to Sonos Beam.

See diagram that shows the Sonos Beam ports. There is only this version of the Beam. It has not changed. Are you sure it’s a Sonos Beam. Have you got a photo of your connection panel ?

It sounds like you've been sold a Playbar.
