I have a broken beam gen1 Sonos have agreed to replace.  Will they replace with a gen 2?

You might get a refurbished gen1 but this long after gen2 came out I think the latter is more likely. That they’re replacing it should be good enough, unless your broken one is a gen2? Your profile says gen2.

I still suspect you’ll get a gen2. 


Gen 1 is out of warranty but after explaining recent purchases & fact Sonos don’t repair they agreed to replacement 👍 so fair play
