BEAM does not show up on Sony TV

My Beam Gen 2 does not show up in device list on Sony Xh90 (vh1) TV - therefore the Beam can not be controlled via the remote, nor does it turn on/off the TV.

Beam connected to eARC with the HDMI cable provided with the Beam.

Both TV and the Beam have been reset to factory default, Bravia Sync enabled.

Did you follow the setup instructions in the link below? After which if you miss it during setup you can go to setup your TV in the Sonos app on your device for the room that the Beam belongs to.

Thanks, I did go through the setup successfully - just the TV that won’t add the Beam as a device.

I can play music and TV sound through the Beam but not control it via the remote.
