My setup is a Sonos home theater with Arc two play 1s and a sub, I use apple TV to stream netflix on my sony a8h oled. Ive had this issue multiple times when watching Netflix Atmos capable programs where the sound will sometimes take time to load start up and also get out of synch. This happened while watching Jingle Jangle the other day and I was wondering if anyone was having this type of issue. The Sonos App did have the “atmos” mark in the controller when i opened it. I also experienced an odd thing where the vocals would sometimes switch to the right rear speaker rather than the sound bar in the center, like it was having issues decoding. I use surround lighting with a phillips Hue sync which might be slowing the signal? is it a wifi issue? should I play it native from the TV app- do you think that processor is better than the apple tv? I find I like the apple tv dolby vision more than my native TV app.

Hi @deepbhatt.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community!

I appreciate your detailed post outlining your concern, let me help and try to figure this out.

To better understand, kindly reproduce the issue, then submit a diagnostic report through the Sonos app, and reply with the confirmation number. I'd start by reviewing your system as well as the status of the devices, it will help in identifying what's possibly causing the issue. It would be best if we can capture multiple diagnostics when playing from different sources (native app and Apple TV).

I’m looking forward to assisting you further from here.
