Arc sound low when turn tv on

When I turn my TV on the volume is always on low so nothing can be heard, even if it was previously on loud. I have an Sonos Arc connected to an LG TV. This also happens if the tv is paused for a prolonged time, the sound goes back to a minimum. Any idea how I can fix this?

Sonos doesn’t, to my knowledge, deal with any ‘setting’ of the TV volume, other than receiving the data from the TV set itself, via ARC/eARC. You may want to either check the TV’s settings, or even the remote itself. I know I used to have a Harmony remote that you could program in some way the volume of the TV when turning it on. It became annoying rather quickly, and I removed that ‘feature’, and let the Sonos just accept the volume as the TV sent it.

Thank you for this I’ll look at the TV’s settings.
