5.1 set up options - surrounds wall mounted or floor stands?

I have got the beam, sub and two ones as surrounds, but undecided on best way to set them up. What are people’s recommendations, wall mount just below the ceiling at the rear on each side, or use two floor stands at each side of the sofa? Appreciate it’s most likely to be personal choice, I’m personally think wall mount will look neater but will I lose sound experience not having them as close

Good point UKMedia hadn’t thought about that and that I’ll need TruePlay once surrounds are added.

I wall mounted in the end and have used TruePlay as suggested. I’ve also adjusted the surround volume in settings to desired level.

Truly amazing sound and set up. It takes watching movies to a whole new level
